In Memoriam: Nicholas L. Woodhouse (1981–2025)

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of our colleague and friend, Attorney Nicholas L. Woodhouse, in August 2025. Nick was an outstanding attorney and a valued member of Huffman & Huffman since 2017. Our team and his clients will deeply miss his dedication, intellect, and compassion.

Nick concentrated his practice on personal injury and medical malpractice cases. With a strong academic background that included a Juris Doctor from Penn State’s Dickinson School of Law and a Master’s in Medicine from Eastern Virginia Medical School, Nick brought a rare perspective to his work. His medical knowledge and exceptional skill in legal research made him the go-to attorney for complex matters, insurance denials, and difficult cases. He was respected not only for his legal expertise but also for his ability to guide clients through some of the hardest moments of their lives with empathy and clarity.

Born and raised in Norfolk, Nick was proud to serve his community through his work as an attorney. Outside the office, he cherished time with his wife, Andrea, and their son, Nolan.

Nick’s contributions to Huffman & Huffman, his profession, and the many clients he helped will not be forgotten. He leaves behind a legacy of excellence, kindness, and service that will continue to inspire us.
