Traffic safety

Recognized for Making a Difference in Traffic Safety

Through ongoing radio, TV, digital, and billboard campaigns, we invest thousands of dollars each year to raise awareness about critical safety issues in Hampton Roads—like distracted driving, drunk driving, and pedestrian safety. We reached over 1 million people across the region.

We are honored to have been recognized for our work two years in a row by Drive Safe Hampton Roads through the John T. Hanna Award, which celebrates individuals and organizations who are making meaningful strides in improving traffic safety.

Inspiring The Next Generation

We love any opportunity to connect with young students and spark curiosity about the legal profession. We’re proud to participate in career day events at An Achievable Dream Academy, where we speak with students about what it means to be a lawyer, how listening can help solve problems, and the value of hard work. It’s a fun and meaningful way to encourage the next generation as they start thinking about their futures.

Virginia Peninsula Foodbank

Since 1986, the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank has been dedicated to fighting hunger across the Peninsula, distributing millions of meals annually to individuals and families.

Friedreich’s Ataxia Research Alliance

The Friedreich’s Ataxia Research Alliance is a nonprofit committed to raising awareness and funding research leading to treatments and a cure for Friedreich’s ataxia, a rare neurodegenerative disease.

Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia & the Eastern Shore

The Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia & the Eastern Shore has provided the region with vital food assistance for over four decades. Through partnerships and community support, they distribute millions of pounds of food each year.

Thrive Peninsula

Thrive Peninsula offers critical support to residents of the Peninsula with a range of emergency services, including food, financial assistance, and resources to help individuals and families overcome life’s challenges.

Drive Safe Hampton Roads

Drive Safe Hampton Roads is a nonprofit coalition focused on making local roads safer for everyone by organizing public awareness campaigns and educational programs as well as partnering with local organizations. Learn more about the 757 Sober Ride program.

Iron Order Motorcycle Club

With chapters across the U.S., the Iron Order Motorcycle Club builds lasting connections among motorcycle enthusiasts and engages in charity work to support local causes.

Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters (CHKD)

CHKD is committed to improving the health and well-being of children and offers a wide range of pediatric services, from specialized clinics to surgical care, tailored to patients’ unique needs.

Gweedo Memorial Foundation

The Gweedo Memorial Foundation is dedicated to educating young drivers and their families about the dangers of reckless driving through outreach programs, events, and educational campaigns.

Saint Mary’s Star of the Sea School

Saint Mary’s Star of the Sea School is an elementary and middle school committed to shaping future leaders by fostering academic excellence, spiritual growth, and community service.

Mayflower Marathon

The Mayflower Marathon is an annual event focused on supporting families facing food insecurity in the Hampton Roads area. Hosted by 106.9 The Fox and FM99, this 57-hour food and fund drive benefits the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank, the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore, and the Foodbank of the Albemarle.

Legal Food Frenzy

Legal Food Frenzy is an annual competition that brings together Virginia’s legal community to help fight hunger. Created in partnership with the Virginia Attorney General, the Young Lawyers Division of the Virginia Bar Association, and the Federation of Virginia Food Banks, LFF invites law firms, legal organizations, law schools, and corporate counsel to raise food and funds for local food banks.
