Katey Green is one of the newest additions to the attorney team at Huffman & Huffman Brothers-in-Law, PLLC. Since beginning her legal career, Katey has served as a plaintiff’s attorney representing injured clients throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. Here at Huffman & Huffman, her focus is on litigation and dispute resolution. Katey was born in Alabama and grew up outside of Dallas, Tx.
Prior to joining the attorney team at Huffman & Huffman, Katey managed a high-volume motor vehicle crash caseload, where she gained significant litigation experience, trying multiple cases each month. She then went on to work for a local law firm further developing her trial strategy skills in circuit and federal court.
Katey has experience fighting for those involved in catastrophic personal injury, slip and falls, mass tort, and wrongful death cases. She has helped defend the rights of students across the country suffering from brain injuries. She is currently working with the Brain Injury Association of America to become a Certified Brain Injury Specialist to increase her knowledge of traumatic brain injury and maximize the value of cases for her clients.
Katey attended The University of Alabama where she majored in Criminal Justice and Sociology. Roll Tide! After completing her undergraduate studies, she moved back to Dallas and joined the legal team for a large logistics company downtown as she prepared for law school. She then moved to Virginia Beach where she earned her Juris Doctorate at Regent University School of Law and fell in love with Hampton Roads.
Outside of the office
In her free time, Katey can be found enjoying the outdoors with her husband, little boy, and baby girl.
