"I always wanted to be a lawyer. Early on, I had a general law practice -- divorces, bankruptcies, etc., but more and more we gravitated to personal injury. There are so many issues -- state statutes, doctors, medical suppliers, laws, insurance...By specializing, we're focused, more experienced, and better able to successfully represent our clients. Plus, we're helping people -- at the end of the day, that's very satisfying. Every day and every case is different. Insurance companies are not in the business of helping people. Once the individual talks directly with the insurance company, they're in over their head, wih no knoweledge of where to turn, and the need to act in a timely manner. I cannot express strongly enough the importance of getting good legal help right away. We devote our time and effort to ensure that our clients are satisfied with the realization they've gotten a fair settlement and compensation for what they've gone through."

- Charles A. Huffman III

"My inspiration came from my big brother, Charlie. Once he became a lawyer, I knew that's what I wanted. We have another brother, Richard, who's an investigator with the firm. And my son Ryan is now in law school, and I expect he'll join Huffman and Huffman one day. I like people. When we conclude a case, it's rewarding to see the smiles on the faces of people we've helped. Most people don't realize all the financial resources they can tap into. We show them how to best manage their various insurance coverages so, when the case is settled, they can keep more of the money. We've built a history of trust with hospitals and doctors, and can often be instrumental in reducing medical bills. We do everything we can to help our clients get more compensation, and keep more of what they get."
